Couch Commander is a video player for TV boxes that plays the playlists you provide. We do not run accounts, collect analytics or show advertising, and we never receive what you watch.
Your playlist addresses and Xtream Codes logins, guide files, favourites and lists, profiles, viewing history and resume positions, reminders and recording plans, settings, the parental PIN and, if you record to a network folder, that folder's login. All of this is stored only on the device the app runs on. It is never sent to us.
If the app closes because of an error, it saves a problem report on the device: the app version, the box model and Android version, the error and the app's own recent log, with playlist logins removed. Reports stay on the device; you can read and delete them in Settings, About, Problem reports. They are not sent anywhere automatically.
The Couch Commander Premium subscription is sold and billed by the app store on your device (for example the Amazon Appstore). The store tells the app whether a subscription is active; the app receives no payment details and no personal information from the store.
A backup copies your setup, including playlist logins, into a file saved where you choose (on the box, a USB drive or your network folder). Keep backup files private.
Couch Commander is not directed at children. Profiles, the parental PIN, age limits and Kids mode are household controls stored only on the device.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on the device, except recordings and backups saved to a network folder, which you can delete yourself.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, PIPEDA in Canada, the CCPA in California and the LGPD in Brazil give you the right to see, correct or delete personal information a company holds about you. Couch Commander keeps your information only on your own device and we hold none of it on our side, so there is nothing for us to hand over or delete; you control it in the app and by uninstalling.
